alle ore 19.00, inaugura all’Accademia
di Romania in Roma la rassegna d’arte
SPAZI APERTI che giunge al suo
9° appuntamento con il tema l’Esperienza estetica, a
cura di Luisa Conte.
La manifestazione, come da tradizione, raccoglie nella prestigiosa sede
dell’Accademia di Romania, sino al 21 giugno 2011, le opere dei borsisti delle
Accademie di Roma, degli Istituti culturali e degli artisti italiani e
stranieri. Sarà presentata un’ampia panoramica dell’arte nelle sue diverse forme
e espressioni, dalla video arte alle installazioni, dalla pittura alla scultura,
dalla fotografia alle performance, dalla musica alla danza e al teatro.
L’evento, curato da Luisa Conte, è organizzato dall’Accademia di Romania, con il
sostegno dell’Istituto Culturale Romeno di Bucarest, con il patrocinio del
Comune di Roma – Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali e Centro Storico e con la
collaborazione dell’Accademia del Belgio, Accademia Britannica, Accademia di
Danimarca, Accademia di Romania, Circolo Scandinavo, Istituto Romeno di Cultura
e Ricerca Umanistica di Venezia, Reale Accademia di Spagna,
Università Timişoara – Facoltà d’Arte e
Design.
Il tema della nona edizione nasce dalle riflessioni e teorie contenute nel libro
L’esperienza estetica. Fondamenti psicofisiologici per un’educazione estetica
di Vezio Ruggieri, professore di Psicofisiologia clinica all’Università
L’Esperienza
estetica è un percorso individuale e soggettivo che ogni spettatore
compie entrando in comunicazione con l’arte attraverso il corpo e portando con
sé il bagaglio della propria esperienza umana, intesa come sintesi di processi
cognitivi ed emozionali.
Lo spettatore è il protagonista, insieme alle opere, dell’evento perché permette
attraverso la sua partecipazione lo svolgersi dell’esperienza estetica: l’arte
esiste perché esiste il soggetto e il suo vasto processo di elaborazione. La
mostra allestita invita pertanto il pubblico ad avere un contatto sensoriale con
l’arte per sentire le emozioni estetiche nella loro pienezza e sperimentare il
peso, la leggerezza, la tensione ed il rilassamento, l’appoggio, il rapporto tra
appoggio e movimento, tra Io e Tu.
Gli artisti presentano lavori site specific che, nelle loro diverse espressioni,
tengono conto del rapporto con l’altro,
lo spettatore: il risultato è un percorso
ricco e variegato di ‘stimoli’ affinché ciascuno possa sperimentare l’esperienza
estetica e trovare, tra le molteplici possibilità, la propria ‘emozione’.
Devis Venturelli nei suoi video, attraverso dei particolari tessuti evocativi,
interroga lo spettatore sulle possibili nuove forme di architettura urbana e
propone un eccentrico monumento. La video installazione interattiva di Marco
Lamanna chiama in causa lo spettatore attraverso lo sguardo e il movimento
mentre quella di Maria Diekmann lo coinvolge anche con l’ascolto. Richard Gasper
con l’installazione entra in relazione con il corpo;
KirsiMarja si sofferma sugli stati d’animo, sia nel
video che nelle fotografie, mentre Laurence Snackers indaga i volti con la
pittura.

On Wednesday the 8th June 2011, at
7 pm, in the
Romanian Academy in Rome the 9th
edition of the art exhibition Spazi
Aperti, organised by Luisa Conte and titled
Aesthetics experience,
will be opening.
The event, as in past editions, will house in the prestigious seat of the
Academy, until 21st June 2011, works by artists coming from foreign Academies in
Rome and from Culture Institutions and by many other italian and foreign
artists. The exhibition will give a panorama of contemporary art: from video art
to installation, from painting to sculpture, from photography to performance,
from music to dance and theatre.
The event has been curated by Luisa Conte with the organization of Romanian
Academy, the support of Romanian Cultural Institute of Bucarest, the sponsorship
of the Comune di Roma – Assessorato alle Politiche Culturali e Centro Storico
and in collaboration with the Belgium Academy, the British School,
the Denmark Academy, Circolo Scandinavo – Residence for Nordic Artists,
the Romanian Academy, the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanities Research
in Venice, the Royal Academy of Spain, Timişoara
University – Faculty of Art and Design.
The title of the 9th edition is based on theories reported in the book
L’esperienza estetica.
Fondamenti psicofisiologici per un’educazione estetica

The aesthetics experience is a personal and subjective journey every observer
takes when he or she enters in communication with the works of art through the
body, taking with him or her the baggage of his or her own experiences, that is
the
synthesis of cognitive and emotional processes.
The observers are as important as the works of art because through their
participation they allow the
aesthetics experience to develop:
the art exists thanks to the observer’s elaboration process.
The exhibition invites the audience to a sensorial contact with the art in order
to provide the experience of aesthetic emotion in its completeness and to
experience the concepts of weight, lightness, tension, relaxation, movement, and
the relationship between you and I.
The artists present site specific works that, in their different expressions,
analyse the relationship with the other,
the audience: the result is a rich and variegated itinerary of ‘stimuli’ in
order to allow everybody to seek the aesthetics experience and to find, among
infinite possibilities, their own
‘emotion’.
Denis Venturelli’s works display evocative textiles that make the observer
reflect upon the new forms of urban architecture and provide the impression of a
bizarre monument. Marco Lamanna’s interactive video installation involves the
observer through the gaze and movement, while
Maria Diekmann interactive video installation involves also the hearing.
Richard Gasper’s installation involves the whole body; KirsiMarja Metsähuone in
her video and photos focuses on moods and feelings while Laurence Snackers in
her paintings delves into people’s countenance.
